YB. Dato’ Haji Rozali bin Salleh is currently the State Financial Officer of Terengganu.
Beginning his humble career in land management, he started as a land administration assistant in three various District and Land Offices; Marang, Kemaman and Kuala Terengganu for over a decade.
He was then promoted as the General Manager of Terengganu Skills Development Centre (“TESDEC”) in 2004, which gave him the platform to directly bolster technical aptitude of labour workforce. Among his career achievements include spearheading the growth of significant agencies such as Yang di-Pertua of Majlis Daerah Marang, Chief Executive Officer (“CEO”) of Yayasan Pembangunan Usahawan, District Officer of Besut and Director of Yayasan Islam Terengganu, all within the span of five years (2016 to 2021).
Years of prevalence and dedication for the state and its people has led him to be appointed as the Mayor of Majlis Bandaraya Kuala Terengganu (“MBKT”) in 2021, leading tirelessly to make Kuala Terengganu live up to its name as the Waterfront Heritage City.
